1. Add the webhook

1. In Settings → Integrations, select Connect next to Paddle. Pingado shows your webhook URL.
2. In Paddle, go to Developer tools → Notifications → New destination and paste the URL.
3. Select transaction.completed and subscription.created.
4. Copy the destination’s secret key and paste it into Pingado.

2. Load Pingado before Paddle.js initialises

Pingado adds the visitor ID to every Paddle.Checkout.open() call as customData, and confirms the order when Paddle.js reports checkout.completed. For that, the Pingado snippet must be on the page before you call Paddle.Initialize().

There is no success URL to set. The overlay checkout reports the transaction ID to Pingado directly.

Note

Paddle’s webhooks do not include the customer’s email. Pingado links Paddle payments to visitors through the visitor ID in customData and the checkout completion on your page.
