Lead forms

Pingado records a lead when a visitor submits a form with an email field on your site. It skips:

  • forms with a password field, such as log-in forms
  • search forms (role="search")
  • forms with the data-pingado-ignore attribute

Each email counts once per page. The email is hashed in the browser before it is sent.

If your form submits without a native submit event, for example an embedded form builder, send the lead yourself:

window.pingado.lead('customer@example.com')

By default the browser pixels do not receive leads, and the server sends them. To fire the pixels too, add data-fire-leads="on" to the snippet.
